Another hard match on Worcester with most fish caught in the first 2hrs. One section provided the first 3 weights with Gary coming first, finding some F1's to win from Nick who had all F1's, whilst Jim came 3rd with a similar bag. Keith won the Silver pool with 4lb 7oz.

Another horrible day weather wise on the Abbey. With the roach not feeding you needed a bonus fish to finish in the top four with 1/2 hr to go go Paul caught a carp which weighed 19lb 9oz. for a easy win. Graham had 2 tench biggest 7lb 14oz for 2nd, whilst Jim went to bring in his float in on the whistle, found a carp of 13lb 1oz on the end. Steve also had a tench in his weight. Winner of the creed Graham r/u John. There was a tie on 19 pts with Graham Pinnock pipping John on weight.

Bramley fished very well,with only one weight under 20lb.Nick had the best weight.Worcester not so good except Graham who carried on his winning streak to take top weight. The lake fished better today with Graham having 36lb of F1's in his bag to win from Adrian L. who had 18lb of Silvers including 4 Tench.Adrian R just pipped John for 3rd, whilst John did take the Silver pool with 21lb of Silvers mostly Skimmers.

With the water down about 2ft the lake fished very well with fish being caught all over the 5hrs.Some Roach and Rudd came out over the pound mark as well as some Perch.Gedd had an easy win from Adrian R with Glen 3rd.

Unfortunately before this match we held a 1 minute's silence in memory of Clive Favell who sadly passed away.
With the first frost this week and a cold start to the day, the fishing was very hard with all the fish seeming to shut up shop. Graham was the only one in double figures with some F1's and a Chub for an easy win from Stu who had mainly Skimmers for 2nd, plus taking the Silver Pool, with Gary taking 3rd. Looks like a long winter to come for us match anglers.

On a cold windy day, we decided to peg most people out of the wind so you didn't get the cold icey wind in your face. The match was split into three sections paying the winner of each section.As you can see, half the field blanked. Only Nick found the F1's feeding to win his section and his weight was more than the rest put together. Ian had one F1,one Chub and a Skimmer to win his section. Adrian had one Skimmner landed with a minute to go to pip Dave, who had one Roach, to win the other section.

Not sure that the 8 that wanted to fish were brave or mad. Because of the weather we put the match back 1 hour so fished 10:00 to 15:00.Considering the weather there was only one blank. The hour made a differrence as Ged caught most of his F1's in this hour to win from Ian, who had a mixed bag for R/U, with Jim catching Silvers for 3rd place which included a Roach of 1lb 9oz to win the Silver Pool.

Everybody caught this time with Graham D coming 1st from a non-island peg, whilsy Gary came 2nd and Mark 3rd, opposite one another. With Graham C and Ged the only two who could win it, with only 2pts seperating them going into the last round.Ged won it in the end with 41pts and Graham R/U with 37pts.

It mader a change to fish in bright sunshine instead of rain, which we normally get on match days down the Abbey. The 4 end pegs took the 1st - 4th positions, with Ged taking 1st place with a bag of Roach plus a nice Perch.
