Another horrible day weather wise on the Abbey. With the roach not feeding you needed a bonus fish to finish in the top four with 1/2 hr to go go Paul caught a carp which weighed 19lb 9oz. for a easy win. Graham had 2 tench biggest 7lb 14oz for 2nd, whilst Jim went to bring in his float in on the whistle, found a carp of 13lb 1oz on the end. Steve also had a tench in his weight. Winner of the creed Graham r/u John. There was a tie on 19 pts with Graham Pinnock pipping John on weight.

Bramley fished very well,with only one weight under 20lb.Nick had the best weight.Worcester not so good except Graham who carried on his winning streak to take top weight. With the water down about 2ft the lake fished very well with fish being caught all over the 5hrs.Some Roach and Rudd came out over the pound mark as well as some Perch.Gedd had an easy win from Adrian R with Glen 3rd.

After all the rain, the colour has dropped out so the fishing was hard for most.Most of the weights came from the top bay with Graham the only one in double figs with Glen r/u with Adrian 3rd. The bottom end of the lake proved there was hardly any fish with Adrian R having 1 chub for top weight.
Graham Claridge won the Autumn with 22 pts with Jim Martin r/u with 16 pts.

We moved the match to Tuesday because of the rain forecast on Wednesday. Steve had 47lb 13oz of carp and silvers to pip Graham who had 47lb 15oz of carp and silvers. Adrian L was 3rd. Adrian R won the silvers with 13lb 5oz. The next three silver weights were separated by 2oz.

A very hard match and we are not even into winter yet.Neil found some fish including a Crucian for a win,with Glen having a Bream, and a Skimmer in the last 20 minutes for 2nd place.Jim had a Bream about 3lb for 3rd.Only 2oz seperated 3rd to 5th.

Another hard match for most of the anglers, with Steve the only one finding the fish.He had a nice bag that included some Crucians caught on the tip. Jim was R/U with a bonus fish to pip Adrian and Paul, who tied for 3rd place. Paul had only 1 Chub for his weight,whilst Adrian had a mixed bag which included some Roach. Again the bottom end did not fish well apart from Paul's fish,Ian had 5 Perch

This match was moved from last Sunday as it was frozen over.There were some nice Carp caught today,several were over 10lb.The top bay, no Silver fish were caught. The bottom bay was mostly Silver fish,except for the 2 pegs you can cast to the island.The top 2 weights came from the island pegs with Gary coming out on top,with Graham 2nd and Paul 3rd.

For this match we used all the pegs in the top bay and the first one down the channel.Steve on peg 1 caught most of the match with a mixed bag of mostly Rudd.Whilst Adrian had mostly Roach for R/U with Steve in 3rd place,which was enough to win the Winter with 24pts Barry pipped Jim who was ill so missed this match by 1pt on 19pts.
